The Direct Action Mosquito functions as an external tactical belt, offering a versatile platform for easily carrying weapons, ammunition, and essential gear. Constructed from laminated Cordura, the entire outer surface features laser-cut slots to attach MOLLE system equipment. Inside, Velcro trimming allows for the addition of extra MOLLE platforms from the same brand.

In situations requiring heavier loads, the belt is outfitted with four plastic grommets for harness attachment. To utilize the Mosquito belt, one needs a Direct Action Mustang or Warhawk belt, or any internal belt with a width of 3.8 - 5 cm.
