Dragon Egg Mk. II is an excellent EDC and tactical backpack – small size, but lots of space, laser-cut MOLLE system, and well-designed shoulder straps. It works great both in the city and on shorter trips. Sturdy, well thought out, definitely worth its price.
The Direct Action Dragon Egg is a 25-liter patrol backpack, ideal for both patrol duties and everyday use. Made from highly durable 500D Cordura, it features a large carry handle constructed from 5 meters of 550 paracord for comfortable hand carrying.
Equipped with 3 compartments secured by zippers, the Dragon Egg’s rear compartment is designed to hold a hydration cartridge or a laptop up to 15.6" in screen size, thanks to a padded pocket that protects the device.
The spacious main compartment accommodates a hydration cartridge and includes a mount, a tube exit, and a large mesh pocket.
The front compartment offers an extensive organizer with two pockets for easy transport of EDC gear. There is a flat mesh pocket with a zipper on the wall of the front compartment.
Bottles can be placed in dedicated, partially elastic side pockets. A 10 x 5 cm velcro panel on the front allows for patches or emblems to be attached, and a flat zippered pocket is located under the velcro.
The Dragon Egg is covered with a laser-cut panel compatible with the MOLLE/PALS system. Its design gives it smaller dimensions than similar-capacity backpacks, facilitating use with ballistic vests and waist packs.
Attachment points for small items are provided by D-Rings on the suspenders and top of the backpack, as well as daisy chain loops. Compression straps are located on the sides and bottom. The backpack is equipped with YKK brand zippers and Duraflex buckles from WooJin, ensuring its reliability.
The carrying system includes molded, adjustable-length, quick-release suspenders, supported by straps, chest and hip belts, ensuring the backpack stays securely positioned. The back is designed with the Combat Vent System, enhancing ventilation with molded mesh-covered foam and multiple air channels.

Camouflage MultiCam
MultiCam, a cutting-edge camouflage pattern, was developed in 2002 through collaboration between the US company Crye Precision and the United States Army Soldier Systems Center (Natick Labs) as part of the Objective Force Warrior program. The aim was to design a versatile camouflage that remains effective across various terrains and fluctuating environmental conditions. Featuring a combination of seven colors, the MultiCam pattern forms seamless transitions between greens, browns, and beiges. It adapts dynamically, appearing green in forests and brown or beige in desert landscapes. In Central and Eastern Europe, it performs exceptionally well in autumn and among dry vegetation. Gaining global recognition, MultiCam is employed by numerous military forces and special units. In 2010, the US Army officially adopted this pattern for soldiers in Afghanistan, replacing the previous Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP). Additionally, the pattern is available to civilians, making it popular among military and airsoft enthusiasts.

Great, very spacious backpack. The front compartment has plenty of pockets and dividers for various gadgets, both small and large. The zippers are strong and should withstand heavier use. The laptop compartment is large – it easily fits a notebook and a medium-sized book. The shoulder straps are thick and comfortable. I highly recommend this product.

Recently, I bought my second Direct Action Dragon Egg Mk. II 25L backpack in ranger green, and it quickly became one of the most important pieces of my gear. Here are my impressions from using this solid and versatile backpack. Appearance and Style The ranger green color is both discreet and tactical, making the backpack suitable for a variety of environments. Its exceptionally slim design means that despite its considerable capacity, it doesn’t feel too big. Overall, it looks very solid and professional—great for both outdoor trips and city life. Quality The backpack is very well made. The 500D Cordura material ensures durability and resistance to damage, allowing the backpack to hold up under heavy use. Strong stitching and well-fitting zippers are standard in Direct Action products, and the entire backpack feels exceptionally robust. Comfort The backpack stands out for its high level of carrying comfort. The straps are thickly padded, well-designed, and easy to adjust to your body, so even when fully loaded, it remains comfortable. The back is also soft and breathable, which significantly enhances comfort on long treks. It works great for both short trips and daily use. Functionality and Space The 25L capacity is perfect for a day trip or daily tasks. The main compartment is large, has a pocket for a hydration system, and several smaller compartments for accessories. The external MOLLE system lets you attach extra gear. The side pockets are perfect for water bottles or items you need quick access to. Usage Whether I'm hiking, commuting, or traveling, the backpack performs excellently. It protects its contents even in bad weather—both rain and snow leave the inside dry. Summary The Direct Action Dragon Egg Mk. II 25L backpack in ranger green is a great choice for anyone seeking a sturdy, attractive, and practical backpack. Thanks to its high build quality, carrying comfort, and thoughtful design, I sincerely recommend it to both outdoor enthusiasts and those who use a backpack every day. If you value reliability and versatility, this model is an excellent investment.

I recently bought the Direct Action Dragon Egg Mk. II 25L backpack and I have to say it has changed my outdoor experience. The quality of workmanship is excellent – you can see that the backpack was designed for long-term use, even in tough conditions. The organization inside is very good, with many compartments that help keep your gear in order. I really appreciate the compatibility with the hydration system, which makes it easy to access water during hikes. The adjustable straps ensure comfort even when fully loaded, which is important on long routes. The aesthetics of the backpack are also at a high level – it looks modern, and the wide range of colors is an additional advantage. Thanks to the MOLLE webbing, you can easily expand it with extra pockets. In summary: the Dragon Egg Mk. II is a functional, solid and stylish backpack that works great both in the field and in the city. Highly recommended.

The backpack description is inaccurate. No 15.4-15.6 inch laptop will fit in the back pocket; it is physically impossible. It's a pity, because that's what I was counting on, and I was disappointed. However, the workmanship, materials, and quality are excellent. The backpack itself is smaller than I expected.

The backpack is characterized by excellent quality. I chose it mainly because of the dedicated laptop compartment, which is located on the back side and can fit both a laptop and a tablet. Additionally, there is a strap that keeps your gear in place. The backpack has many different compartments, is very spacious, and thoughtfully designed. The handle and the hip and chest straps are strong and durable. The side pockets use Velcro, you can tighten the sides with straps, and there’s an option to attach additional equipment, which are big advantages. The downside is the weight – 1600g, which is noticeable. However, the perforated back panel, durable handle, and high quality make up for this inconvenience.

Good morning! I have been using the backpack for a few days, but it already gives me a lot of satisfaction. I really like it in the Shadow Grey shade, it looks fashionable. Even though it’s a tactical backpack, it doesn’t appear aggressive or intimidating. The numerous pockets allow for convenient organization. It’s durable, has good zippers, and the side pockets are flexible – that’s a great solution. A laptop fits easily, and a 1L Nalgene bottle easily fits in the side pockets. An additional advantage is the paracord handle. Thank you to the store for the lightning-fast shipping. I am very satisfied.

The backpack is amazing—both the materials and craftsmanship are top notch. It performed excellently during my trip to Japan, and during the long, 15-hour journey I really appreciated the number of pockets and compartments for small accessories. While sightseeing I had everything at hand and well organized. Its design stands out from other models I saw on the streets. I especially recommend it for those who like a military style, but also for those who value functionality and durability. I’m convinced it will last for many years. I rate it 10/10 and highly recommend it!

I use it every day and for short trips to the forest. The backpack is of very high quality. I chose this model because it has straps where you can attach, for example, a tent underneath. Despite its small size, it’s really spacious.

This is the most comfortable backpack I’ve had, the material is durable, and the high quality is evident at first glance. I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone – definitely worth its price.
-
I'm giving five stars because the backpack is stylish, exceptionally durable, and has many compartments, but… there are also downsides. The straps rub against my arms, which gets uncomfortable after a while. The backpack looks big and is quite heavy, but it doesn't actually fit that much stuff.

Yes, I bought this bag, and the shipment arrived in about 10-11 days. The product is solid and aesthetically made. I did not incur any extra tax costs. The color of the bag is much darker than in the photo, but overall I'm satisfied.
-
The backpack is solidly made, I use it every day and so far I haven’t noticed any problems. The carrying system is very comfortable, even with heavy loads you hardly feel it on your back. I definitely recommend this product.

Workmanship at a very high level, DA class.
