The cap is perfect for wearing under a helmet. If used alone, it protects against the wind and works well on cool days (probably not on severe frost), although in my opinion, that's not its intended purpose. When my wife saw me wearing it for the first time, she said I looked like I was wearing a swimming cap.

Excellent cap, very warm, insulates well and at the same time your head doesn't sweat in it. The material is elastic, so it even fits bigger heads. It works great with active headphones at the shooting range, is almost unnoticeable while wearing, and effectively protects against the wind.
