Delta Optical Forest Gen3 Binoculars 10x50

Binoculars with a 50 mm objective lens diameter and fixed 10x magnification, belonging to the third generation of the Forest series models. The design uses a BaK4 roof prism system with phase correction, ED glass lenses, and FBMC multi-coated anti-reflective coatings. Large objective lenses, a 5 mm exit pupil, nitrogen filling, and a magnesium-aluminum alloy housing create a model intended for observing nature, wildlife, landscapes, and distant objects, also in lower light.

The binocular body is made of a magnesium-aluminum alloy and based on a compact Roof design, which helps maintain a slim profile. The interpupillary distance range is 57-76 mm. The housing is covered with a soft rubber coating with a non-slip texture, serving a protective and cushioning role. The model is equipped with a convenient central focusing mechanism that allows quick switching from observing nearby objects to targets at a long distance.

Twist-up eyecups improve user comfort and help maintain the correct eye position relative to the eyepiece. The diopter adjustment in the right eyepiece allows precise image adjustment to the observer's individual needs. The model is equipped with a standard 1/4" tripod thread, allowing mounting on a tripod using a suitable binocular adapter. The binoculars are waterproof to IPX7 and feature nitrogen filling to protect against fogging, which allows observation even in adverse weather conditions.

The objective lenses are made of ED glass. This material is used to reduce chromatic aberration, meaning color fringing visible on high-contrast edges. This results in a clearer image and more faithful color reproduction of observed objects.

The model uses an optical system based on BaK-4 prisms made of barium crown glass. They are distinguished by a high refractive index, which makes it possible to achieve a sharp, bright, and well-contrasted image with minimal chromatic aberration. Thanks to good light transmission, these prisms perform especially well in low-light conditions. The lenses and eyepieces are coated with FBMC multi-coated anti-reflective coatings, which limit light loss and reduce unwanted reflections. As a result, the image features high contrast, natural color reproduction, and better clarity.

Thanks to the 5 mm exit pupil, the binoculars are also well suited for observation at dusk or in limited lighting conditions. The angular field of view is 6.5 degrees, which corresponds to a field of view of 114 m at a distance of 1000 m.

The set includes a case made of durable synthetic material with increased resistance to abrasion and moisture, ensuring effective protection for the binoculars during transport and storage. Additionally, the model is equipped with an adjustable neck strap, allowing comfortable and secure carrying of the equipment during field observation.
