Defcon 5 Urban Shell Jacket - OD Green

A hooded jacket in green, combining low weight with features useful for outdoor and tactical activities as well as everyday wear. The body is made from 20D nylon, while the sleeves and hood are made from 50D polyester. The shoulder area is reinforced with 300D Cordura, which improves the wear resistance of these sections during intensive use.

The jacket uses materials of different thicknesses, selected for specific zones. Lightweight 20D nylon is used in the body, while the sleeves and hood are made from 50D polyester. 300D Cordura - reinforcements are placed on the shoulders in areas especially exposed to abrasion and load, including when carrying a backpack.

The front and back of the torso are filled with synthetic insulation, creating an additional insulating layer in the body area. Quilted stitching keeps the fill in the correct position and gives the panels an even layout.

The jacket design is complemented by side pockets lined with soft and warm microfleece. The zipper-closed pockets allow small items to be carried securely.

On the sleeves there are additional zippered pockets designed for small accessories worth keeping within easy reach. Next to them are velcro panels for attaching compatible patches, ID tags, or markings.

A full-length zipper is sewn into the front of the jacket, making it easier to put on, take off, and adjust the closure. The main zipper is protected by an inner windproof strip that limits wind penetration. The high stand-up collar protects the neck against cold and gusts. The inner side of the collar is finished with fleece, which improves thermal comfort.

Zippers placed on the sides serve 2 functions: they increase airflow and provide access to equipment carried under the jacket. When opened, they improve ventilation or act as practical access openings without the need to remove the outer layer.

Waist adjustment allows the jacket circumference to be adjusted and helps reduce the inflow of cold air from below. Elastic cuffs keep the sleeves in place at the wrists and help maintain a proper fit.

The hood can be adjusted to weather conditions, and when it is not needed - completely detached. This solution allows the jacket configuration to be changed depending on the weather and the preferred way of wearing it.
