Defcon 5 Storm Plate Carrier Tactical Vest - Vegetato

Plate Carrier-type tactical vest in Vegetato camouflage with a quick-release system. The refined design combines high durability with low weight. The front and rear dummy ballistic plates panel, pouches and full compatibility with the MOLLE/PALS system provide wide configuration options.

The model is made of lightweight and durable 1000D nylon, which offers very good resistance to damage. The modular design with reinforced stitching ensures stable vest positioning and even weight distribution of the carried accouterment. The padded shoulder straps and the inner side of the vest are covered with soft, breathable mesh, which improves wearing comfort and supports ventilation during intense activity.

The openings made using Laser Cut technology and placed on the front, sides, and back of the vest are compatible with the MOLLE/PALS system, allowing additional accessories to be attached. The shoulder straps are equipped with loops intended for routing radio cables or a hydration system tube, which improves gear organization. A drag handle is also placed on the back of the vest, making it easier to evacuate an injured person.

The waist section and shoulder straps use ROC quick-release buckles made of durable POM material. Vest adjustment is handled by drawstrings placed in the shoulder straps and waist section, allowing a precise fit to the body shape.

Additionally, the Storm Plate Carrier vest is equipped with three pouches with an elastic retention cord for 5.56 × 45 mm NATO rifle magazines. The panels located on the front and back on the inner side allow the use of ballistic inserts.

A velcro panel is placed on the front of the vest, allowing any emblems to be attached, for example insignia, a national flag, a unit emblem, or so-called Morale Patches.

Vegetato is an Italian military camouflage introduced at the beginning of the 21st century as the standard camouflage pattern of the Italian Armed Forces. The pattern is based on irregular, layered patches in shades of green, brown, beige, and earthy red. Vegetato, also referred to as mimetico Vegetata or Italian Woodland, was created as a modern alternative to older woodland-type patterns. Thanks to its expanded color palette and well-designed patch layout, the camouflage effectively breaks up the soldier's silhouette and performs well in varied natural environments - especially in areas covered with low and medium vegetation. Due to its character and color scheme, Vegetato adapts effectively to conditions found in many regions of Europe, covering both Mediterranean and temperate climates.
