Defcon 5 Reversible Jacket Jacket - Vegetato/Tan

The lightweight, insulated tactical jacket with a reversible design was developed to provide effective protection from frost without restricting movement. It is suitable for operational use, outdoor activities, and everyday winter wear. The model comes in two finish variants: one side features Vegetato camouflage, while the other is a solid Tan color. Thermal insulation is provided by synthetic Thinsulate fill with a grammage of 140 g/m2. The jacket is made of durable Taslan nylon, which offers windproof and water-repellent properties, and the whole piece has a NATO stock number (NSN/NUC) confirming its military manufacturing standard.

Both the outer layer and the lining are made of 100% Taslan nylon. The material stands out for its resistance to mechanical damage and provides effective protection from wind. The hydrophobic finish limits moisture penetration and slows down fabric soaking during light precipitation. Inside, there is synthetic Thinsulate fill with a grammage of 140 g/m2 with a favorable insulation-to-weight ratio, which effectively retains body heat and maintains its properties in temperatures down to -10 degrees Celsius.

The jacket is equipped with a zipper with a silent pull tab, which eliminates metal rattling and makes it easier to operate while wearing gloves. On the camouflage side, the zipper is covered by a windproof strip with snaps, which limits cold air penetration through the zipper. The high, insulated stand-up collar features an elastic drawstring with a cord lock to protect the neck from drafts. The bottom hem of the jacket is adjusted with a drawstring with a cord lock, allowing the fit to be precisely tailored to the body, while the sleeves are finished with elastic binding that helps prevent the fabric from rolling up. Classic hip pockets are placed on both sides of the jacket.

The included compression sack makes it easier to pack the garment down to a compact size for transport.
