Very solid and well-designed clothing. It has a high collar, with softshell material used on the front and back, and a lighter fabric under the arms for better ventilation. The arm pockets are large – they can even fit a bigger phone. The cuffs are adjustable with Velcro, and at the end of the sleeves, there are thin extensions with a thumb hole, which can cover the whole hand up to the fingers if needed. On the back of the forearms (from elbow to cuff), there is an additional, almost rubberized reinforcement, which is a really interesting feature. Watch out for the cut! The sizing is accurate as described – these clothes are designed for tall and solid men. At 178 cm tall and 77 kg, size S was good for length, but too wide in circumference for me. The sleeves are quite wide, intended for a strong bicep. It's worth having something to fill out this sweatshirt. Despite these remarks, I highly recommend it.
Produced by Condor, the lightweight Softshell jacket features a fastening with a short zipper. Constructed from breathable and waterproof polyester, this jacket offers excellent protection. The fabric is stretchy, ensuring both comfort and unrestricted movement.
Lined internally with soft fleece of 150 g/m2 grammage, the softshell patrol jacket provides superb thermal insulation. Elastic fleece side inserts enhance airflow and boost ventilation.
The jacket fastens with a 1/4 zipper finished with a chin guard. A high collar shields against wind and reduces excessive heat loss. Additional warmth is secured by Velcro-adjustable cuffs and thumb holes that keep the sleeves in place during activity. The slightly elongated back section protects the lower back from wind.
With two zippered pockets on the sleeves at shoulder height, carrying essential accessories is convenient. Reinforcements of abrasion-resistant material are located on the forearms.
The shoulder pockets come with Velcro panels for attaching patches or emblems like a national flag, unit insignia, or Morale Patches, adding a personal touch to the jacket.

A decent softshell, effectively protects against wind and light rain. The pockets on the arms are practical, although I do miss front pockets a bit, but for my way of using the jacket, that's not a problem. I wear it under a vest instead of a combat shirt – it works great. It provides good protection against the cold, and the thinner panels on the sides and under the arms help the material breathe. The well-placed, sturdy reinforcements on the forearms protect the jacket from abrasions during work with a weapon while wearing a vest or belt. I definitely recommend it for autumn trips to the shooting range, and in winter, combined with thermal underwear, it also works well.
