The outer shell is crafted from nylon, known for its high resistance to abrasion and mechanical damage, and is free of harmful PFAS chemicals. Featuring innovative Omni-Shield technology, the fabric dries 3 to 5 times faster as it does not retain moisture. This keeps the jacket lightweight even when wet and resistant to water, dirt, and external factors at temperatures up to 76°C.
OMNI-HEAT INFINITY technology and synthetic filling
The lining incorporates Omni-Heat Thermal Reflective technology, utilizing silver dots on the lining to reflect and retain heat produced by the body, keeping it trapped beneath the jacket. Omni-Heat Infinity
Omni-Heat Infinity is Columbia's thermal technology that uses gold dots on the inside of the fabric to reflect body heat. It provides more effective insulation than the earlier Reflective version, while maintaining breathability.
