Coleman

MILITARY is a premium dealer of Coleman.

Coleman is an American brand with over 120 years of history, recognized as one of the pioneers in the field of travel and camping equipment. The company's origins date back to the early 20th century, when an innovative kerosene lamp with exceptionally bright light gained popularity among users. Currently, the range includes tents, sleeping bags, stoves, and a wide selection of outdoor accessories. Coleman equipment was used, among others, during World War II, becoming part of the equipment of American soldiers, which confirms its reliability in difficult conditions. The brand is constantly developing its technologies, introducing solutions such as WeatherTec, which protects against rain and wind, and Coletherm, a lightweight insulating filling that ensures thermal comfort even in high humidity. Coleman lamps have gained a reputation for their reliability during Arctic and Himalayan expeditions, becoming legendary equipment for many travelers.

A solid container, but it has a few drawbacks. As a tall person, I noticed that it tips over easily—just a slight nudge and it falls. Another issue is the green residue that appears after filling and emptying it several times—you can remove most of it with baking soda and vinegar, but there’s always something left. In my opinion, the shorter blue canister with a metal spout is better—it also holds 20 liters and is much more practical. I say this from experience as a truck driver, having used many such containers over the years, usually replacing them due to age.

A large water container with a spout, intended for emergency situations. For now, it remains unused and waits for a potential crisis, although I hope it won’t be needed. It was purchased as a safeguard in case of water shortage or breakdown.
