The axe is excellent, fits very well in the hand. Unfortunately, the blade was dull and needed sharpening.

The axe is good, but it seems too light for chopping large pieces of wood. I use it for making kindling and it works well for that, so I recommend it for such purposes.

Cold Steel makes excellent quality knives. Now I can say that their axes are also great. I needed a solid axe for cutting down smaller oaks – it handles very well, and the blade is easy to sharpen. It took me some time to remove the indentation and get a flat blade at a 30-degree angle.

The axe is too long compared to the weight of the head. For this price, I expected a solid blade cover, not a rubber sheath that gets cut by contact with the blade.
