Great kitchen knife, since I have it, I don't use other knives anymore. It has a comfortable, non-slip handle, good balance, and blade shape. It cuts very conveniently and is really versatile. The 4116 steel is quite solid (although some people joke it's too soft). You'd think a knife is a simple thing, but details play a big role – C.S. really knows their stuff. It easily handles slicing tomatoes. The set includes a sheath, so you can easily take it camping and prepare meals outdoors.

Great for cutting meat. The blade has the right width and thickness for this type of work. The handle is comfortable and doesn't slip out of wet hands. The steel can be easily sharpened. I definitely recommend it.

Great knife, I use it during fishing trips. It's really excellent – I recommend it to everyone. I have a different model in the kitchen, but for outings by the water, this one is indispensable. It arrived very sharp, so you have to be careful!

An excellent kitchen knife. It will also work well on a camping trip, as long as it isn't used too intensely. I recommend it, it's lightweight.

I own this knife in my collection, it's hard to find any other use for it in the kitchen besides slicing beef. The build quality is fine, but I wouldn't buy it again.

I think Cold Steel brand fillet knives are excellent! This 8-inch model is very long and complemented my kitchen set perfectly. However, I most often use a shorter knife for filleting, so that's a suggestion for those just starting out with filleting.
