I purchased the CNOC Vessica 1 liter 28mm diameter mouth 2 months ago and went for the GR11 thru-hike with it. This squeezing bottle came in handy: I used it as 'filthy-water-bottle' and screwed on my Sawyer Mini filter. i then let the purified water flow into my titanium drinking flask. The bottle squeezes very well, and I could store it away smaller than a drinking canister. It is super light. One time I secured the full (and later half-full) bottle to the backpack by tightening it just under its upper rim with a belt. That worked well because the top and bottom are made of harder plastic. I was pleased with that: it didn't hung swinging at my backpack while full of water. The only disadvantage I found was that when I pushed the bottle under in a lake, whatever I tried, it would only fill 800ml. In some strange way it was not possible to squeeze out any excess oxigen out of the bottle without squeezing out the already filled water. It must be some strange physical behaviour of such a squeezing bottle under water. I then filled the last 200ml by hand, which took me a while. Once when I hung it drying, I would have liked that the tiny paracord was just a few inches longer so that I could hang it by strapping it through itself. Now the paracord was just too short to make a loop where the plied bottle could pass through. I think 1 liter is an excellent amount. I also purchased the Vectox water tank 2l but finally didn't take it on my trip because I found that the closing zip seemed unpractical and weighted to my feeling too much for what is was. The Vectox would of course have no trouble to get filled under water. In one month of use, the plastic got a bit more yellow, but I don't mind. The label said that happens because less harmful plastics were used. Although not recommended (but still possible cf. the manufacturer), I once cleaned out the bottle with water that had been boiled and was left to cool to about 600C. This way I could clean the bottle perfectly.
