CMP Rigel Waterproof Low Fitgo Shoes - Piombo

Trekking shoes in Piombo color, designed for mountain walks, hiking, and outdoor activities. The low-profile design increases freedom of movement around the ankle, while stabilizing elements and the contoured outsole support confident footing on varied terrain.

The construction combines a suede upper, a waterproof ClimaProtect membrane, the Fitgo quick-lacing system, and a rubber CMP FullOn GRIP outsole. This setup protects against moisture, increases stability, and supports traction while moving along forest trails, rocky sections, and uneven ground.

The upper is made from a combination of suede leather and polyester elements. The suede is responsible for the stability of the construction and resistance to contact with the ground. Textile panels support the fit and reduce the weight of the footwear.

Reinforcements in the front protect the toes from contact with rocks, roots, and other obstacles. Side structural elements stabilize the foot and help maintain proper positioning while walking on uneven surfaces.

Injection-molded upper elements increase how closely the material conforms to the foot. They also reduce the risk of excessive looseness in areas that require a stable fit.

The model uses a waterproof ClimaProtect membrane. Its role is to limit water from getting inside the shoe during contact with wet ground, mud, and precipitation.

The membrane helps keep feet in a dry environment while also supporting moisture vapor release generated during movement. Thanks to this, the footwear performs well in changeable weather and on routes with elevated moisture levels.

The shoes use a durable CMP FullOn GRIP outsole. Multi-directional traction zones and a refined tread pattern support traction on dry, wet, and uneven surfaces. The tread sheds some debris and supports contact with the ground during ascents and descents.

The midsole is made of lightweight EVA foam, responsible for effective cushioning. EVA foam reduces strain while walking on hard surfaces, rocks, and compacted trails. Its low weight helps maintain proper comfort without excessively increasing the weight of the footwear.

A TPU insert is used in the rear part of the midsole to increase structural stability. This element limits excessive sole twisting and supports foot guidance on uneven ground.

The model uses an Ortholite Foam 0.11 insole with EVA foam. The insole adapts to the shape of the foot and supports cushioning while walking. The foam construction improves pressure distribution and increases comfort on longer routes.

Instead of classic laces, the shoes use the Fitgo system with a micro-adjustable dial. Turning the dial allows you to gradually increase lace tension and adjust the upper to the foot.
