A large telescope with a 10" Newtonian reflector that allows you to observe the night sky via a smartphone screen (not included) in real time. Equipped with a StarPointer (red dot) finder, 254mm diameter main mirror, 1200mm focal length and 2" Crayford focuser.
All optical surfaces have been coated with StarBright XLT coatings to increase contrast and light transmission. This allows you to see even the most subtle details when observing the Moon and other planets, as well as galaxies or nebulae. The mirrors used are made of optical glass with low thermal expansion, which provides a better image in changing environmental conditions.
To observe the sky with a smartphone, place it in a dedicated mount and launch the StarSense Explorer app using LISA's sky recognition technology, which analyzes star patterns and calculates the telescope's position. Once the user selects an object of interest, arrows leading to it appear on the smartphone screen, allowing the user to quickly and easily locate celestial bodies.
The stability of the telescope is guaranteed by a Dobson base equipped with large diameter bearings in the vertical axis with adjustable resistance, Teflon bearings in the horizontal axis and reinforcements on the side panels. This design ensures smooth up-and-down movements, and the handle on the tube allows precise aiming of the telescope without introducing hand heat into the optics.
This model can be equipped with almost any 1.25" or 2" telescope eyepiece, thanks to the 2" to 1.25" adapter and 2" extender included in the kit. In addition, the telescope comes with a 25mm Plossl eyepiece.
