Celestron NexStar 6" SLT Telescope

Astronomical telescope type Schmidt-Cassegrain with 150 mm aperture and focal length of 1500 mm, with focal ratio f/10. Equipped with two eyepieces: 20 and 9 mm, and a prismatic diagonal with a 90-degree angle and an input and output diameter of 1.25". Intended for astronomical observations, including nebulae, galaxies, as well as the Moon and planets of the Solar System. This telescope is also suitable for daytime wildlife observations. The NexStar 6 SLT is characterized by its ease of use, and the quick-setup, adjustable tripod allows to start work in just a few minutes.

The model is equipped with patented StarBright XLT optical coatings, which increase light transmission and improve image contrast. This technology allows for the detection of more details when observing objects with lower brightness, such as nebulae or galaxies. These coatings additionally reduce light losses in the optical system, keeping the image brighter and sharper. This solution is particularly important in planetary and deep-sky observations under challenging lighting conditions.

The model features a lightweight azimuthal mount with the NexStar Go-To control system, allowing for automatic object search in the sky. The mount is controlled via the NexRemote remote, which allows selection from a catalog containing 4,000 celestial objects, including 600 galaxies and 300 star clusters, as well as many double stars.

Calibration is performed using SkyAlign technology, which is the fastest, simplest, and most suitable calibration method for beginners. The model is also equipped with a Red Dot finder, making it easier to locate bright objects in the sky. The mount is powered by 8 AA batteries, allowing for field observations without the need for external power sources. The steel, adjustable tripod increases stability at higher magnifications.
