Telescopes of the Celestron SLT series are characterized by their construction in the form of short catadioptric optical tubes and single-arm, lightweight azimuthal mounts, which are equipped with the GoTo system. Such a system is an important advantage, as it allows automatic search for objects in the sky - especially useful for less visible observational targets. In turn, the RedDot type finder will allow you to easily locate bright objects in the sky.

With the touch of a button on the remote control, you can select a catalog of 4000 astral objects, change the rotation speed, display object information or simply know if the desired object is visible in the sky.
The diameter of the lens is 102 mm, and the focal length is 660 mm. The corrector plate has an anti-glare coating to minimize light loss. The focus is set with a knob on the back of the tube.

The single-arm azimuth mount with GoTo system has a built-in parallactic wedge and can be powered by batteries.
It uses a driver NexStar with a database of 4000 objects. The mount can be connected to a computer, so it is possible to control using popular astronomy software. An additional RS232-USB converter is required.
