Thermal insulation coefficient R-Value
The model features a thermal insulation coefficient of R-Value 2.1, determined according to the ASTM F3340-18 standard. This parameter indicates the degree of insulation from the ground - a higher value means more effective reduction of heat loss.
Interpretation of R-Value used in the outdoor industry:
- 1.0-2.0 - intended for summer use (night temperatures above approx. 10 deg. C),
- 2.1-3.5 - use in spring, summer, and fall (approx. 0-10 deg. C),
- 3.6-5.0 - cool conditions, around 0 deg. C and negative temperatures down to approx. -5/-10 deg. C,
- 5.1-7.0 - use in winter, at temperatures below 0 deg. C,
