This is a typical, thin sleeping pad with an added aluminum layer that provides adequate insulation during summer trips. It may not be the most comfortable, but it's extremely lightweight.

The sleeping pad is light and comfortable. Thanks to its thickness, it insulates well and provides more comfort when lying down than thinner mats. Out in the field, it's an essential piece of equipment. I recommend it.
