Brandit US M51 Parka Jacket with Detachable Liner - Dark Camo

Long parka jacket in Dark Camo camouflage, equipped with a detachable liner, made from high-quality cotton and nylon blend. The characteristic rear slit, known as the fishtail, reflects the design of the popular M51 model worn by the U.S. Army.

detachable liner providing thermal comfort

The jacket is additionally insulated with a thermal detachable liner made of 100% durable nylon and filled with polyester. The liner also includes sleeves and is attached to the jacket with buttons at the neck and sleeves.

Four spacious pockets and adjustable hood

The jacket features a large hood with adjustment and four spacious pockets. Two Napoleon-style pockets are located at waist height and fasten with strong snaps, allowing convenient carrying of essentials. Two more pockets located at the hips with fleece lining provide additional space to store and warm hands on chilly days.

Zipper with strip, drawstring, and adjustable cuffs

The US M51 model is closed with a zipper, which is externally protected with a snap strip. The drawstring waist and adjustable cuffs protect against wind and cold penetration.

I am 188 cm tall, weigh 103 kg, and my chest is about 125-130 cm. Size XL fits me perfectly. I received the jacket in "camel" color, although I had ordered "coyote." I kept it because I actually liked this shade even more. I am lowering my rating due to the stitching quality – it looks as if someone was sewing under the influence of alcohol. There are lots of loose threads and the seams are uneven. The jacket works better in warmer temperatures, so it's no surprise that Americans were often cold during the Korean War.

The jacket is made of pretty good materials and is wide, but the lining is very thin and does not resemble that of a real parka. It might be suitable for temperatures up to 5 degrees, but it's not suitable for wind and snow, unless you plan to wear another jacket underneath.
