Bolle STKS 420 Glasses - Crystal/Cobalt Flash Polarized
Glasses designed for users working in challenging field conditions, where both effective eye protection and wearing comfort are important. Thanks to the sturdy construction and the use of high-quality polarized lenses with a CAT.3 filter, they effectively protect the eyes from strong sunlight, reducing glare and improving contrast.
The model provides protection against fragments, ricochets, and other incoming objects according to Class F (objects weighing 0.86 g moving at a speed of 45 m/s).
polarized visors with anti-scratch coating
The Cobalt Flash colored lenses with a thickness of 2.2 mm are made of polycarbonate, which combines low weight with high resistance to mechanical damage. Their surface features an Anti-Scratch coating, increasing scratch resistance. Thanks to this, the glasses retain their properties longer, even with intensive use.
Using polarization, the lenses reduce glare, significantly improving image readability. Moreover, they increase contrast and color saturation, reducing eye strain during prolonged use in bright light.
Contoured frames, side shields
The model is equipped with a full frame type frame made of recycled polycarbonate. With modern production processes, a construction was achieved that combines lightweight with adequate rigidity and resistance to mechanical damage.
Side shields protect the eyes from particles, dust, and other contaminants, increasing the level of protection in demanding environments. Contoured temples ensure a stable and comfortable fit of the glasses to the face, minimizing the risk of them shifting during movement and enhancing wearing comfort.
standards and certifications
- EN 166 - a European standard concerning optical and mechanical protection requirements for glasses and goggles. Optical requirements include light transmission and diffusion, refractive properties, resistance to heat and UV radiation, corrosion, and ignition. Mechanical protection refers to impact resistance to objects, with four levels marked by letters: S, F, B, and A, where S is the lowest protection level, and A is the highest.
- EN172 - a standard defining markings and transmission coefficients and appropriate test methods for sunglasses that protect against solar glare.
- CE - an indication that the product meets the safety, health, and environmental protection requirements of EU standards and regulations. The CE marking indicates that the manufacturer confirms the product's compliance with the relevant EU standards and directives.
