On a daily basis, I use Vibram Fivefingers shoes, but I bought these thinking of work and the gym. They are very comfortable and pleasant for everyday use. The sole and insole provide much better cushioning than the V5F. The only major drawback is the poor hold of the foot from above – the rubber laces don’t improve this situation, they only cause a light pressure. I recommend trying these shoes on for several minutes, preferably in the same socks you plan to wear – it really makes a difference.

These shoes improve my mood because previously, when I walked around the house in slippers, I would drag my feet and feel sluggish. However, in these new, flexible shoes, I can move much more energetically and freely, without worrying that they'll slip off my feet. I can easily jump, stop suddenly, or make sharp turns. Since I started wearing these shoes and became more active, I have more energy and enthusiasm to work.

My first barefoot shoes. You really do have to relearn how to walk a bit – don’t put weight on your heel, rely more on the ball of your foot. It turns your stride into a more feline, less military way of walking. The shoes are very comfortable, the sole thickness is just right – you don’t feel every little stone, but you still sense the ground well. The only downside is the sole is too hard on the instep, maybe it will stretch a bit with time.
