Bates Sport 2 Tactical Shoes Desert

I bought online, the delivery could have been faster. I had four models to choose from, each in sizes 41 and 42 EU (my foot: length 27.3 cm, standard width). My subjective evaluation from least to most successful model: 1. Texar Desert Ghost - Khaki: I liked these the least (unusual color), the sizing does not match the chart – runs large, both sizes too small. Craftsmanship is fine, standard insole, average comfort, hard sole – similar to Kupczak MON. 2. Texar Stinger - Khaki: nicer than the ones mentioned above and the most stylish in the set. Surprisingly, the sizing is accurate this time. Size 41 is a bit too small, but over time it will probably adjust to the foot with a thin sock. Size 42 is too big even with a slightly thicker sock. Solid shoes, average comfort, sole as hard as the Desert's. 3. KOMBAT uk PRO 50/50 (bought from a competitor): in my opinion, the best-looking among those compared. Sizing is correct: 41 perfect for a thin sock, 42 – a bit of room with a thicker sock. Good build quality, better comfort than the previous ones, less hard sole, although still not as flexible as the winning model. Good reinforcement at the heel. 4. Bates Tactical Sport 2 Desert: the winner of the comparison, although not the best-looking. Sizing runs small – I chose 41, which gives a little room with a thin sock, and with a medium or all-year sock is perfect. High quality, very comfortable on the foot, surpasses the other models in comfort. They immediately fit well to the foot and ankle, you can barely feel that they're on, good insole, exceptionally flexible sole, does not offer as much resistance while walking as the other models. If someone is wondering whether to pay about 150 PLN extra for the Bates Tactical Sport 2 – it is definitely worth it!

First impressions: the shoes are lightweight, have a comfortable sole, clearly soft. Perfect fit around the heel and above. The zipper is very functional. Well-made shoes, look aesthetically pleasing. Perfect for the city – they perform well on various surfaces. The size matches the description.

The footwear is extremely comfortable and carefully made, and the material is pleasant to the touch. A small note from me – if you wear size 42, I recommend choosing a smaller one, that is, 41 or even 40. Overall, they are very comfortable and solid shoes, I definitely recommend them!

The shoes are very comfortable, although they were expensive – but it's worth investing in foot comfort.
