The UV-5R HTQ radio offers professional-grade features with its 5 W power output. It includes a dual-mode feature (duobander) for both the transceiver and display. Users can operate on a selected band across two different frequencies, allowing for transmitting/listening on the main frequency while listening on an auxiliary frequency, and offers a key for switching the main frequency. The HTQ version of this device boasts significantly enhanced modulation and interference resistance when compared to earlier models.

The Baofeng UV-5R HTQ can be programmed directly from the keyboard or through a computer using a USB cable. Moreover, the software offers numerous features to aid in grouping and identification. With the VOX function, the radio can be activated for transmission by voice, eliminating the need to press the PTT button.

A good radio, but to unlock it you need to simultaneously press the moni, ptt and vfo buttons, and then turn on the device – the word 'fabric' will then appear on the screen.

This product is a great choice – the battery lasts a very long time, it's perfect for airsoft games thanks to its long range and many functions, such as a flashlight, alarm, and FM radio. Additionally, PMR channels can be set without needing to connect to a computer.
