Ferrocerium - reliable fire source
The flint is equipped with a rod measuring 50 mm in length and 6 mm in diameter, offering durability and easy manipulation. A vigorous pull with the provided striker generates a dense shower of sparks to readily light the prepared tinder, as the cerium in the rod oxidizes and ignites spontaneously.
Producing sparks at a temperature of 3000 deg. C, the rod ensures effective fire starting even in heavy rain or cold conditions.
Easy use, Convenient transport
Its compact design allows it to easily slip into a pants pocket, backpack compartment, or small bag. The grooves on the housing provide easy handling of the flint, whether wearing gloves or using bare hands. Seals prevent moisture from entering, keeping the flint components dry.

This affordable fire starter strongly resembles the well-known Exotac product from the USA, although in this case, the housing is plastic rather than aluminum as in the original. In everyday use, however, this does not really matter because it works very well. Due to the much lower price, I think the Badger model is a good choice. I definitely recommend both this fire starter and the store Militaria.pl.
