Overall, the microspikes do their job until they break. Unfortunately, they break very quickly—the problem is the chain and the plate that came off after only a few steps. My friend, who also bought them, had the same problem. Before buying, I read reviews and was aware that these are more for beginners, but I didn't expect them to start rusting after just one day. The crampons fit shoes in size 43. The elastic rubber seems appropriate for other sizes as well. I plan to use them in light snowy conditions. I think it's a good purchase to start with.

Basic microspikes for shoes. If you want to start with winter hiking, they’re suitable at first for forest paths or easy trails. I tried them on snow about 10 cm deep, and closer to the top it was even 50/60 cm. Thanks to them, I safely climbed up to 1200 meters above sea level and then went down an easier trail. On very steep and icy climbs they started slipping, so that’s their limit. But I can’t imagine climbing without microspikes. They work best on ice or well-packed, slippery snow. I tested them on size 43 and they were ok; for smaller feet, they might be too loose. I’m subtracting one star because during the walk the element connecting the plate and the chain came undone—you can fix it with pliers but it shouldn’t happen. Be sure to take care of the metal parts since they can rust in such conditions. In summary: good for forest and easy trails, ideal for beginners in winter hiking.

Very well-made microspikes. I wear a size 43, and they fit tightly to my trekking boots. They fit the soles perfectly and don't move around. The price matches the quality. I tested them a year ago in the Tatras—they performed their function excellently. I recommend them!

I rate the crampons as average. During expeditions, they did their job by improving grip, but I have a few remarks. The size is supposedly universal, but they were definitely too loose on size 37 shoes. The metal plates with spikes are not very durable and have already bent (especially on the heel). After leaving them wet, rust appeared—so I'm not certain about their resistance to corrosion.

The build quality is fine for the price. According to the description, the crampons fit sizes 36-45, but on AKU shoes size 38, they are too loose, and the spikes from the heel are at the middle of the shoe. The real size range is more like 40–45. Other than that, I have no complaints.
