BACscan F-40 Breathalyzer

The F-40 breathalyzer is outfitted with a precise electrochemical sensor featuring a platinum component that reacts solely to ethyl alcohol. The measurement range spans from 0.00 ‰ to 4.00 ‰, with a precision of +/- 0.05 ‰ for 1.00 ‰ at 25 degrees C.

To ensure optimal performance, calibration should be performed every 6-12 months or after 500 measurements, whichever occurs first. The device can also record the last 10 measurement entries.

A built-in alarm function activates if the alcohol concentration surpasses 0.20 ‰. The LCD screen with a backlight facilitates measurements in low-light settings and displays results to two decimal places.

Powered by two 1.5V AAA batteries, the breathalyzer features an automatic shut-off that activates after 20 seconds of inactivity or 30 seconds following a measurement.
