The CA9000 Professional breathalyzer employs a precise electrochemical sensor that guarantees accurate readings of alcohol concentration. It measures within a range from 0.00 ‰ to 4.00 ‰ and maintains an accuracy of +/- 0.05 ‰ at 1.00 ‰ and 25 degrees Celsius.
Measurement memory, alarm function
To ensure accurate measurements, it is advised to perform calibration every 6–12 months or after 500 tests, whichever occurs first. The device's memory is capable of retaining the last 10 measurement results.
A warning alarm is triggered when the 0.20 ‰ limit is surpassed. The backlit LCD screen facilitates easy reading in dim conditions, presenting results with a precision of two decimal places.
Power supply
The device operates using two 1.5 V AAA batteries. An integrated automatic power-off feature deactivates the device after 20 seconds of inactivity to save energy.

Great product. The breathalyzer is very precise, it's good to have it at home or in the car for peace of mind. Better to check than to worry. Highly recommended.

Very precise breathalyzer, I bought a second one because the first, regularly calibrated, after almost 5 years is slowly out of warranty and the sensor may be less reliable. The device is very useful and works great, but it must be calibrated at least once a year to keep measurements accurate.
