Heaters tested at about -2°C. They deliver a bit of pleasant warmth, but if you want protection against freezing, it's better to wear an extra layer of clothing. I keep a few in my backpack and I'm glad when they work. The real heating time is about 7-8 hours, and in my opinion, the temperature reaches a maximum of 50°C.
