The tablets found their way into my emergency backpack as one of the key equipment elements. They are lightweight, inexpensive, and can be invaluable when access to clean water is unavailable. I bought them with possible difficult situations in mind and the need to purify well water in case of an emergency. I hope I will not have to use them, but I expect them to work great as part of a survival kit, especially as an emergency option for water purification.
