The tablets found their way into my emergency backpack as one of the key equipment elements. They are lightweight, inexpensive, and can be invaluable when access to clean water is unavailable. Chlorine tablets designed for dissolving to purify water stored in containers like wells. Efficiently remove microorganisms in the water that could lead to gastrointestinal issues.
Effectiveness and ease of use
Lightweight, user-friendly, easy to carry, and boasts a long shelf life.
To disinfect water, simply drop one tablet into 600 liters of liquid (2 ppm per 1 l). In cases of emergencies like flooding, it's advised to dissolve 2–3 tablets in around 300 liters of water (4–6 ppm per 1 l).
