Alpinus Fatra II Backpack 30 l - Black

Black backpack with a capacity of 30 liters. Made of durable, damage-resistant 210D nylon and complemented with a polyester lining. The outer layer is finished with a hydrophobic coating that protects against moisture and dirt. The model is designed for both shorter and longer trail hikes. Its distinctive construction performs well during rock climbing and climbing wall sessions.

Inside the main compartment, closed with a high-quality zipper from YKK , there is a divider pocket for a laptop or documents, as well as a small zippered pocket intended for small hiking accessories. The front features adjustable bungee cords with an option to remove them.

The backpack has side pockets that fit a mobile phone or wallet, a front pocket with a hydrophobic coating for smaller accessories, two small pockets on the hip belt closed with a zipper, and an internal compartment for a hydration bladder with an H2O opening and a hook to stabilize the tube.

Compression straps complemented by Duraflex buckles allow the backpack dimensions to be adjusted to the amount of equipment being carried.

The ACS carry system consists of adjustable shoulder straps filled with foam and covered with mesh, which translates into high carrying comfort. The bottom-tapered construction improves the fit against the back and reduces the backpack getting jammed in tight spaces. The wide hip belt relieves the back, making it easier to carry heavier equipment. The anatomically profiled back panel is stiffened with a removable frame. The neoprene filling does not absorb moisture and maintains flexibility and durability in changing weather. Additionally, the chest strap features a buckle with a built-in emergency whistle.

The Fatra II model is equipped with reinforced loops for attaching an ice ax. The front panel features four small buckles with a hook that allow hiking equipment to be secured, as well as two attachments for trekking poles.

The backpack is equipped with a rain cover. On its surface are reflective Alpinus Safety elements that increase safety while walking after dark or in fog.

    I am really satisfied, the backpack is very well made and if someone needs something versatile, I really recommend this model. The zippers, pockets, and material are very good, and with my height of 185 cm, the backpack fits perfectly.

    I have been using this backpack for two years. It accompanied me during my Camino pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela. It's great – it withstood everything during the hikes in Spain and Portugal and still looks like new. I definitely recommend it.

    Unfortunately, this is a dud – the chest strap is almost impossible to adjust vertically, which means a woman might have it right at bust level or much lower, which makes no sense at all. The outer pockets are very small, and one of them is very hard to access because the zipper is covered. The straps are definitely too long, as if they were designed for a person weighing 330 lbs and 6'7" tall. Overall, for people up to 5'7", the backpack is too long. The only advantage is its nice appearance.

    The backpack I ordered yesterday arrived today. As always, shipping from military.pl was lightning fast, so I’m giving 5 stars. The backpack looks very sturdy, feels durable, and I’m sure it will last a long time. It also seems very spacious for 30 liters. I haven’t had the chance to use it on a trip yet, but as for the product itself, I’m really satisfied – the backpack is great and well-made.
