Alpinus Arys Jacket - Blue

Blue rainproof jacket crafted with a two-layer structure from 100% robust polyester. An HDTX membrane guarantees a waterproof and breathable performance rated at 10,000 mm/m2. The exterior fabric is treated with a DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish to fend off moisture and dirt. Ideal for outdoor adventures and everyday wear.

2-layer material structure, membrane, DWR coating

Constructed from lightweight yet resilient polyester fabric, this garment is enhanced with a Rip-Stop weave, offering high resistance to tearing and abrasion, which greatly prolongs its lifespan. The fabric's two-layer structure incorporates an HDTX membrane that provides waterproofing and breathability at 10,000 g/m2. Inside, a mesh lining boosts air circulation and enhances thermal comfort. The external surface is treated with a water-repellent DWR (Durable Water Repellent) coating, free from hazardous PFCs. Reflective elements enhance visibility and safety when active after dark.

YKK zippers, windproof strip, adjustable cuffs, deep hood

The Arys model features a YKK zipper along with a windproof strip to block wind and moisture from seeping into the jacket. Adjustable Velcro cuffs include an elastic insert to provide extra protection against cold for the hands. Drawstrings at the hips and an adjustable hood with a stiffened peak offer an excellent fit to the wearer's body.

The jacket includes three functional pockets secured with covered YKK zippers:

  • two traditional pockets located at hip level
  • a chest pocket shielded by a flap

    At 178 cm and 64 kg, size M fit well. There’s still room for two more layers of clothing under the jacket, and it doesn’t restrict movement. I tested the membrane — it works. The main thing is to store it properly. Hang it in a wardrobe and wash it with a special detergent gel. It insulates well in a storm, and the collar is high. For the money — 5+. But you can find a 20/20 membrane, though I didn’t find one in this budget.

    I am very satisfied with the purchase. The jacket fully meets my requirements. It is lightweight, yet effectively protects against the wind, including around the neck thanks to the high collar. Size XXL fits me perfectly at a height of 188 cm.
