Alpha Industries M-65 Hybrid Sherpa Field Jacket - Black

A jacket in black, combining the characteristic form of the M65 model with a shorter cut inspired by bomber jackets. It retains a military look while also pairing well with urban and casual outfits. The nylon outer layer and polyester filling create a lightweight construction designed for cooler days.

The well-thought-out cut is complemented by elastic drawstrings at the cuffs and hem, which ensure a very good fit and reduce wind penetration. The high stand-up collar protecting the neck is equipped with a stowaway hood.

The outer layer is made of 100% nylon. The fabric limits wind penetration and, combined with the synthetic insulation, increases thermal comfort when wearing the jacket in cooler conditions.

The body is finished with a polyester lining, while the sleeves use a nylon lining. The smooth sleeve finish makes it easier to put the jacket on over additional layers of clothing.

The jacket's insulation is provided by a filling made of 100% polyester. The insulation placed between the outer layer and the lining creates an insulating layer that helps reduce heat loss and improves comfort when wearing the jacket on cooler days. The filling is distributed throughout the entire construction, creating an even insulating layer in the body and sleeves.

The jacket is equipped with 4 front pockets with flaps. 2 of them are placed at chest height, while 2 larger ones are located lower, in the hip area. This layout is characteristic of M65 field jackets.

The pockets provide easy access to the most essential items. They can carry a phone, wallet, keys, gloves, a cap, or other accessories. The flaps cover the pocket openings and effectively reduce the risk of the contents slipping out during movement.

An additional pocket with a zipper is placed on the left sleeve. Its location allows quick access to small items that should remain within easy reach. Next to the pocket there is a red RBF Tag with the wording Remove Before Flight.

The front of the jacket is fastened with a zipper running from the lower edge up to the stand-up collar. An outer snap placket covers the zipper along its full length. When closed, it creates an additional layer protecting against wind and cold. The snaps stabilize the placket in place while also allowing it to be opened quickly.

The high stand-up collar effectively protects the neck from the cold. Inside it is a hood that can be taken out when needed. When unfolded, it provides additional head protection against wind and light precipitation.

The lower edge is finished with an elastic hem. It stabilizes the jacket's position and reduces it riding up during movement. Knitted rib cuffs are also used at the cuffs - they conform to the wrists and reduce the entry of cold air under the sleeves.

The jacket is made in a Regular Fit cut that ensures full freedom of movement. The construction does not fit tightly to the body, so a sweatshirt or sweater can be worn comfortably underneath.

There are epaulets fastened with snaps on the shoulders. This detail refers to the classic construction of field jackets and emphasizes the model's military character.
