For the price of one good breathalyzer, you can have several hundred disposable tests. An additional advantage is that they're small and fit in your luggage. I checked – it works. Always handy in the glove compartment. No batteries or calibration needed. If they expire, you won't regret throwing them away because they cost very little.

Tests bought out of curiosity and it seems they fulfilled their task. I think after consuming alcohol, they indicate its presence, but I wouldn't rely on them as the only criterion for deciding to drive or to avoid a fine.
