The long spoon definitely makes it easier to eat meals from freeze-dried food bags. It's fine, but still, I prefer the Optimus Titanium spork. It used to be available for purchase here, but it seems it’s no longer in stock.

An interesting gadget. It serves the same function as the spoon I usually use to eat soup. It comes in handy during forest trips or also in Dubai, because it's easier to mix powder with water in a bag with it.
