420HC
420HC is a high-carbon version of 420 stainless steel, containing 0.4-0.5% carbon and 12-14% chromium. Thanks to its higher carbon content, it achieves higher hardness (55-57 HRC) and better cutting properties than standard 420 steel, making it ideal for the production of outdoor, hunting, and everyday knives. The steel is characterized by very good corrosion resistance, high fracture toughness, and ease of sharpening, which increases its versatility.
