A sleeping bag designed with demanding users and tough conditions in mind. The craftsmanship is of a very high standard, made from the best materials, which is already standard for this manufacturer. It should be suitable for most of the winter, and in severe frost I plan to additionally use the Swagman. I will post another review in spring. Robust sleeping bag in Olive color with a mummy shape that provides ergonomic body fit and freedom of movement during sleep. Made of high-quality polyamide, it features a durable outer shell and G-Loft insulation.
Temperature and usage conditions
The SOF 2 sleeping bag's temperature ratings according to EN 13537 standard:
- T-comfort: 0 C – the lowest temperature at which a woman can sleep comfortably through the night,
- T-limit: -5 C – the minimum temperature at which a man can sleep without discomfort.
G-Loft filling
It uses synthetic G-Loft fill with a density of 190 g/m2, which effectively retains heat. The double insulation layer maintains its thermal properties even when wet, frequently washed, or heavily used.
Central zipper and Anti Snag system
The sleeping bag features a centrally placed two-way zipper that allows for full opening. The Anti Snag solution prevents the fabric from getting caught. A velcro fastener at the top of the zipper prevents accidental opening during sleep. Inside, there is a small pocket for accessories. The model can be joined with other sleeping bags from the "Fast & Light" line.
Easy transport and storage
Once packed, it takes up little space, which greatly facilitates carrying and storage. Its compressed dimensions are 18 x 25 cm with a weight of 1139 g, making it a practical choice for lightweight trips.
