Choosing the right camping tent can be difficult because there are many types and models available on the market. Before making a purchase, it is worth considering several factors, such as:

• Type of tent - you can buy an igloo tourist tent or a tunnel tent on the market. The former are dome-shaped and can be broken without using pins or pegs. Tunnel tents, on the other hand, are elongated, often larger, and the shape of their frame allows for more efficient use of space.
• Number of people - consider how many people will be using the tent at the same time. Remember that in addition to space for sleeping bags, there must also be enough space for equipment. For example, if you plan to sleep with several people, choose a large tourist tent with an additional vestibule for luggage. There are also single-person models available on the market, as well as 2- or 3-person tourist tents.
• Season - if you plan to camp during the colder months, pay attention to whether the tent is equipped with, for example, snow skirts. Summer tents, on the other hand, usually have mesh panels that ensure air circulation and prevent overheating. For example, they also have mosquito nets that protect against annoying insects.
• Weight - pay attention to the weight of the tent you want to buy. Remember that if you are traveling by car, for example, there is no problem if the tent is quite heavy. However, if you want to travel on foot, choose a lightweight hiking tent. Most often, light tents are those with frames made of aluminum.
