Fall jackets

Each season presents its characteristic challenges. They involve not only weather conditions such as rain, wind and temperature, but also the activities we do during that time. Golden Polish autumn is a great time for hiking in the mountains and trips to the woods. The days get shorter, the temperature starts to drop, rain becomes more frequent, and to top it all off, the weather can change at any time and turn a pleasant walk in the woods into a real struggle for survival. Choosing the right jacket for autumn will allow us not only to feel comfortable, but also to enjoy daily and weekend activities, regardless of the weather. Because of the change in the weather, you do not have to give up your favorite activities. A women's autumn jacket or a men's autumn jacket will allow you to perform various outdoor activities without worrying about getting cold or wet. In this category you will find autumn jackets available in different models so that you can find a product that meets your expectations.

If you are looking for a fall jacket for yourself, in this description we will help you understand what both men's fall jackets and women's fall jackets feature. We will also tell you what the different parameters mean, what materials are used and their advantages, how to properly maintain your jacket, and for which applications a certain type will work better than others.

Jackets dedicated to women from men's fall jackets differ primarily in cut. A women's fall jacket is very often narrower at the waist to fit better. The same treatment is given to the sleeves in order to better fit a woman's finer shoulders. When choosing an autumn women's jacket, it is worth taking care to choose the correct size. Excessive empty space under the jacket can result in improper moisture wicking from underneath the garment and even negatively affect the thermal insulation performance. Loose outerwear will then fail to keep the heat generated by our body underneath. In addition to the indented waist, we may notice anatomically placed material on the chest, tailored to fit the bust. This is designed to improve comfort by not restricting your movements. Therefore, so that you can fully enjoy every moment outdoors, opt for a model of women's fall jacket.

Various materials are used in the production of fall jackets. It is the fabric of men's autumn jackets that determines whether it will perform its function properly. At this time of year, the weather does not spoil us, so we must be prepared for wind and rain. Cotton is a popular choice because of its natural origin and pleasant texture. It is often combined with nylon or polyester. This combination makes the garment lighter and better protects you from wind and rain. Such a jacket will work well during moderate physical activity, as thicker cotton jackets have lower breathability than their synthetic cousins. Autumn jackets designed for use during more intense exercise are specially made for this. If you live an active life, synthetic jackets are a better choice. This is because they are much lighter and offer the best protection from the weather. Softshell clothing is a lightweight outer layer designed primarily to provide the highest level of breathability needed for intense exercise. It will protect you well from wind and light rain. In a heavy downpour, however, a jacket with a membrane will work best. This is a special material with a sieve structure, the meshes of which are small enough to retain water, but allow water vapor to pass through. It is sewn between the layers of the jacket, which translates into high breathability with excellent water resistance.

What is the aforementioned waterproofness and breathability? These are the parameters by which we can judge whether a jacket is suitable for our applications. High breathability will ensure that moisture is well wicked away from inside the jacket. During strenuous activity, a person sweats, and unabsorbed sweat accumulates under the garment, gradually soaking into it. A well-breathable jacket will avoid this. Water resistance indicates the degree of protection against water. With membrane garments, this value is measured and given in grams per m2. A good jacket will fend off autumn rains without letting even a drop pass through. Such an autumn women's jacket equipped with a special membrane will work well during a trip or a walk to the woods, if you do not want to worry about getting soaked due to a sudden downpour.

Proper maintenance is extremely important. Autumn jackets can lose their properties if you neglect these simple steps. Cotton does not require special washing, but it needs regular waterproofing. Applying a water repellent layer will protect it from rain. The activity is simple and the choice of waterproofing agents is wide, choose your favorite and apply it according to the instructions. Softshell clothing and those with membranes require washing in dedicated agents. Using ordinary liquid or washing powder will clog the microscopic pores in the material. This will cause the jacket to stop breathing properly.
