Brand Origin and Beginnings
The Vector Optics brand was founded in 2007 by Xusheng Shen (also known as Stephen Shen). However, the company's beginnings date back to 2005, when the founder, then working at a Swedish company, became interested in the sports optics market. At that time, the market was dominated by factories producing optics on behalf of other brands (OEM), and there were practically no own brands. Shen decided to change this, believing that it was possible to create advanced optics at a world-class level.
Initially, the company operated under the name Sunclear, but after the first successes in the American market, partners from the USA suggested changing the name to something more universal and associated with the industry – thus the Vector Optics brand was born.
