Camouflage MultiCam
MultiCam is an advanced camouflage pattern created in 2002 by Crye Precision in collaboration with the United States Army Soldier Systems Center (Natick Labs) as part of the Objective Force Warrior program. It was designed to be a flexible camouflage pattern that performs well across various terrains and under different environmental conditions. The MultiCam pattern features seven colors, forming smooth transitions between greens, browns, and beiges. This allows it to seamlessly blend into different backgrounds, appearing green in forested areas and taking on browns and beiges in desert regions. Within Central and Eastern European settings, it excels particularly well in autumn and among dried vegetation. Recognized globally, MultiCam is employed by multiple armed forces and special units. In 2010, it was formally adopted by the US Army as the camouflage for soldiers in Afghanistan, replacing the previous Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP). Additionally, the pattern is accessible to civilian users, making it a favored option for military or airsoft enthusiasts.
