The replacement visor is crafted from unbreakable Selenite polycarbonate, specifically designed for Wiley X Detection goggles. It's enhanced with a T-Shell coating that resists scratches, protecting the material and prolonging its lifespan.
It adheres to ANSI Z87.1 safety standards (withstands the impact of a 6.35 mm diameter steel ball at 164.6 km/h) and EN.166B (withstands the impact of a 6 mm diameter steel ball weighing 0.86 grams from a height of 1.3 meters at 162 km/h).
The viewfinder improves image clarity and contrast in bright sunlight, allowing light transmission at 14%. It performs admirably during outdoor activities at dawn or daylight, and indoors as well.
Additionally, it offers protection from harmful UVA and UVB ultraviolet rays. The advanced Anti-Fog technology ensures the visor remains fog-free for clear vision even during vigorous activities.
