Personal camouflage net in M05 Finnish Snow Camo, prepared for operation in 2 configurations. It works well as an outer camouflage layer over clothing and equipment or deployed as a net for concealing a position, an observation point in the field, a backpack, and other equipment.

The design is based on a rectangular sheet of netting with a camouflage print. Thanks to the proper placement of the snaps and the use of a drawstring, it can quickly be turned into a lightweight hooded cape. Once unsnapped, it remains a fully functional camouflage accessory that can be adapted to the current task and terrain conditions.

The net is made from 100% polyester with a grammage of 260 g/m2. The material creates a durable yet breathable camouflage surface, suitable for use as an outer layer over clothing and as a cover for equipment.

The open net structure limits heat buildup and allows air to flow through. This means the L7 can be used during extended time in the field.

The material structure also creates attachment points for natural camouflage elements, such as grass, leaves, small branches, or other materials available in the surroundings. Adding them makes it possible to modify the appearance of the net and better adapt it to a specific environment, season, and type of vegetation.

The net can quickly be transformed into a lightweight camouflage cape worn as an outer layer over clothing and equipment. The applied snap system fastens the individual sections of the material together, creating a loose construction. Snaps are also placed on the sides and in the sleeve area, making the cape easier to put on and take off.

The upper part of the net forms a hood that helps cover the head. A drawstring is responsible for adjusting how the material sits, allowing the cape to be fitted to the body shape and limiting loose sections of the net. The design maintains a loose fit and does not restrict movement.

The snaps also allow for quick emergency shedding of the cape if it gets caught on branches, fencing, or other obstacles. Their matte black covers reduce the risk of light reflections forming and improve the cape's consistency with other camouflage equipment elements.

After unsnapping the fasteners, the L7 takes the form of a rectangular sheet of material. In this configuration, it can be used to conceal:

• a backpack or other pouches
• small terrain features
• equipment elements left at the operating location

Attachment points placed in the corners make it easier to secure the net to the ground, vegetation, a frame, or other terrain elements. The rectangular form allows the material to be spread over equipment or hung up as a light cover.

All materials, prints, and net components used are compliant with NIR requirements for limiting reflection in the near-infrared band. This helps reduce the risk of creating clear contrast when observed using night vision devices.

Snow Camo is a snow camouflage pattern designed for operations in snow-covered environments. Depending on the region and manufacturer, the patterns can vary significantly - from simple, uniform patches in pure white to more complex arrangements resembling the texture of ice-bound ground or snowdrifts. Although white dominates the palette, it is often complemented by shades of light gray, very subtle beige, and sometimes even blue, allowing it to blend better into natural winter conditions.
