The pant material has a highly visible check pattern and a distinct sheen. The thigh pockets are tight, but that works for me, though the front stitching makes it hard to put your hand in; it's also a shame they're secured with Velcro. The calf pocket seems unnecessary. The hip pockets have a nice shape and nothing falls out when sitting. The belt loops are well positioned. The size is non-standard – Helikon SFU MR fits perfectly, but these pants in the same size are too tight in the waist and about 4 cm too long. It's a pity they're no longer available.

SFU pants modeled on the clothing worn by special forces units and is made of damage-resistant Polycotton fabric in Olive color, which is a blend of polyester and cotton. Even though they match the size chart, they are too big for me, and because of the pockets on the seams, they can't be taken in or shortened. I wore out my first pair of these pants after 5 years of intensive use, even though they weren't treated gently. The fabric breathes despite containing mostly synthetics; they're thin—better for warmer days, but they're still very durable. However, they lose color quickly.
