Camouflage MultiCam
The MultiCam camouflage pattern, developed in 2002 by Crye Precision in collaboration with the United States Army Soldier Systems Center (Natick Labs), was part of the Objective Force Warrior initiative. Aimed at creating a highly adaptable camouflage, it is designed to perform well across various terrains and environmental conditions. Comprising seven colors, the MultiCam pattern features gradient transitions among green, brown, and beige shades, allowing it to dynamically blend into different backgrounds—adopting green tones in forests or brown and beige in desert areas. In Central and Eastern Europe, it is particularly effective during autumn and in areas with dry vegetation. Recognized globally, MultiCam is utilized by numerous military forces and elite units. Officially adopted by the US Army in 2010, it served as the standard camouflage for troops in Afghanistan, replacing the former Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP). Additionally, the pattern is accessible to civilians and has become a favored option among military and airsoft enthusiasts.
