The Silva Scout headlamp emits a strong white light that works well when working in the forest after dark. Unfortunately, the red light is rather weak – it's enough for reading a map, but in dark places like an unlit basement, it's not intense enough. If I had to choose again for my needs, I would go for a different model. But if someone only needs a white light, they'll be satisfied.

The lightweight and durable Silva Scout 3X headlamp flashlight. The flashlight is equipped with powerful white light LEDs with a maximum output of 300 lumens and a range of up to 60 meters, and one red light. In addition, the flashlight is equipped with Silva Intelligent Light® technology, which combines a focused and diffused beam reflector. The combination of two light beams in one mode allows for accurate illumination of distant as well as close obstacles. The flashlight is powered by three AAA batteries or interchangeably by a dedicated rechargeable battery (not included).
The Scout 3X is equipped with two white light modes and one red light mode operated by a master switch located on the body. The flashlight is equipped with a battery level indicator that indicates the state of charge.
The body of the flashlight is made of durable and resistant ABS plastic. Thanks to this construction and the use of a system of internal seals, it provides water resistance at the level of the IPX5 standard (water stream flowing from different directions with a capacity of up to 12.5 liters per minute).

For a product in this price range, around 150 PLN, it performs well. It doesn't blind during nighttime activities, and the red light is sufficient for reading maps or making notes. If you have a limited budget, it's worth considering this model.

A very good headlamp from the lower-mid price segment. It offers more than the cheapest models, but doesn't have unnecessary extras. It has two lighting modes: one strong and focused, and another that's wide and not blinding. Solid construction, batteries are included, and I hope it works well in use. The only thing that may be lacking is additional modes, for example, a flashing red light or an SOS signal, but at this price that's standard.
