Great whetstone. I bought this one and another to compare them. Both perform excellently. They require soaking before use, but that's standard for knife sharpening stones. I definitely recommend it!

Sanrenmu Whetstone 1000/3000
The double-sided ceramic whetstone offers two grit levels of 1000 and 3000. Its abrasive surface is sized at 18 centimeters by 6 centimeters. The 240 grit is designated for initial sharpening of dull tools, while the 800 grit is intended for refining the blade. A non-slip base is included to ensure the whetstone remains stationary during use.
Instructions for use
Submerge the stone in water or use oil suitable for sharpeners. Position the whetstone on a flat surface. To hone the knife, glide it across the stone (applying light pressure) multiple times, first on one side, then on the other. While sharpening, aim to preserve the proper angle (15°-30°).
