Synthetic leather, Armortex material, touchscreen compatible

The gloves are made from durable Armortex fabric and synthetic leather, which ensures a secure grip and minimizes the risk of slipping on smooth surfaces. The upper part is made of lightweight, breathable TrekDry fabric, which reduces hand perspiration. The cuff is fastened with Velcro for an easy fit. Synthetic leather inserts on the index finger and thumb allow you to operate touchscreens without removing the gloves.

TPR panels, impact-absorbing inserts

The exterior of the gloves features durable panels crafted from TPR (Thermal Plastic Rubber, meeting EN 13594 standards), providing protection against abrasions and environmental impacts—perfect for indoor settings and CQB operations. The segmented panel configuration ensures unrestricted finger movement. The inside of the gloves is equipped with D3O inserts that absorb impact energy and vibrations in the metacarpal region.

EN388-2121XP protection standard

The gloves meet the protective standard EN388 level 2121XP in terms of mechanical resistance, which means:

  • 2: abrasion resistance (scale 0-4)
  • 1: cut resistance (scale 0-5)
  • 2: tear resistance (scale 0-4)
  • 1: puncture resistance (scale 0-4)
  • X: cut resistance - TDM test (ISO 13997) (scale A-F)
  • P: impact protection (test passed)

The scales provided in the EN388 standard define the level of protection of the gloves: the value 0 means no protection, while the highest values (4, 5) indicate the maximum level of resistance.

When testing with the TDM method (ISO 13997), letter markings are used, where A represents the lowest protection, and F represents the highest protection.

The marking X indicates that the given parameter was not tested or does not apply. The marking P indicates that the glove meets the impact protection requirements.

wz.93 "Pantera" camouflage

The Polish Armed Forces currently utilize the wz.93 "Pantera" camouflage pattern. It holds the distinction of being the first camouflage design developed and widely adopted in the Third Polish Republic. Introduced in 1993, this pattern merges mimetic and distortion capabilities through its use of irregularly sized splotches. The color palette, comprising green, brown, and black, is tailored to the environments found in Polish forests, making "Pantera" an ideal choice for operations in the local terrain. This camouflage pattern is also part of the standard gear for students enrolled in Military Uniform Classes.

    Very good gloves, as is usually the case with Mechanix products. The additional layer of material in the center of the palm definitely increases the durability of the gloves. The rubber protection on the fingers and knuckles effectively absorbs impacts.

    Mechanix tactical gloves are made from high-quality materials; I use them at the shooting range. They protect the hands and knuckles well, are comfortable, and do not limit movement precision. They are solidly made, with durable material and stitching, which allows for a secure grip on tools or weapons. I've been using them for a year, and they work great; I have them in a dark color. They are very practical.

    I have the original gloves of the same brand and while they are excellent they don't really do much to protect your fingers if you use them while playing airsoft so I purchased these and they have worked really well at protecting my hands from BB impacts. I was also worried about the moulded bits getting in the way of the trigger guard but that's not been a problem. Sizing is great also and the size I ordered after measuring my hand fit perfectly.

    This is already my second pair of such gloves. The previous ones served me for two years. I think their relatively short lifespan was due to frequent washing, which negatively affected the material's durability and increased its susceptibility to wear. Overall, however, the gloves are very comfortable, and a big advantage is the ease of using a phone while wearing them.

    I bought the Mechanix Wear - M-Pact Tactical Gloves - Wolf Grey in size XL. They fit perfectly, I followed the sizing chart and was not disappointed. They seem extremely durable, are very comfortable to wear, and do not pinch anywhere. I am very curious to see how they hold up over time. It should also be mentioned that you get a fantastic grip with these gloves, regardless of whether you're using tools or similar! Definitely deserved 5 stars!
