Perfect for cycling – durable, protect both fingers and knuckles well. Plus, the color makes it easier for car drivers to see turn signals. Recommended!
Mechanix Wear M-Pact D5 Hi-Viz Cut Resistant Gloves
Cut-resistant gloves with a CE Level 5 Cut Resistance, crafted from material featuring reflective and fluorescent properties. Compliant with the ANSI-107 standard, these gloves guarantee high visibility and safety in diverse working environments.
Armortex material, synthetic leather, touchscreen support
Crafted from durable Armortex fabric and synthetic leather, these gloves offer a reliable grip and reduce the chance of slipping on slick surfaces. The top portion is made from lightweight, breathable TrekDry material to help decrease hand sweat. A velcro strap allows for easy wrist adjustment. The index finger and thumb include synthetic leather sections for touchscreen compatibility without needing to take the gloves off.
TPR panels, impact-absorbing inserts
The exterior of the gloves is equipped with durable panels crafted from TPR (Thermal Plastic Rubber, compliant with EN 13594), offering protection against abrasions and environmental impacts—perfect for confined spaces and CQB operations. The segmented panel design permits unrestricted finger movement. The palm features D3O inserts that mitigate impact energy and reduce vibrations in the metacarpal area.
Protection standard EN388-2X43DP
The gloves meet the American protective standard ANSI/ISEA 105 at level XA5X in terms of resistance to cutting, abrasion, and puncture, which means:
- X: abrasion resistance (on a scale from 1 to 6)
- A5: cut resistance (on a scale from A1 to A9)
- X: puncture resistance (on a scale from 0 to 5)
The gloves meet the protective standard EN388 at level 2X43DP in terms of resistance to mechanical risks, which means:
- 2: abrasion resistance (on a scale of 0–4)
- X: cut resistance (on a scale of 0–5)
- 4: tear resistance (on a scale of 0–4)
- 3: puncture resistance (on a scale of 0–4)
- D: cut resistance – TDM test (ISO 13997) (on a scale of A–F)
- P: impact protection (test passed)
The gloves meet the American protective standard ANSI/ISEA 138 at level 2 in terms of the glove’s ability to absorb impact energy, which means:
- 1: basic impact protection
- 2: medium level of protection
- 3: high level of protection
Impact protection is assessed based on the transmitted force (expressed in kN) during the impact test. The lower the transmitted force, the higher the level of protection provided by the gloves.
In the ANSI/ISEA 105 standard, abrasion resistance is rated on a scale from 1 to 6 and refers to the number of cycles a material can withstand before wearing out. Cut resistance is classified on a scale from A1 to A9 (from the lowest to the highest level of protection). Puncture resistance is rated on a scale from 0 to 5 and indicates the force required to puncture the glove surface with a sharp probe (does not apply to needle puncture).
The scales specified in the EN388 standard define the level of glove protection: a value of 0 indicates no protection, while the highest values (4, 5) indicate the maximum level of resistance.
When testing using the TDM method (ISO 13997), letter markings are used, where A indicates the lowest level of protection and F the highest.
The X marking indicates that the given parameter was not tested or is not applicable. The P marking indicates that the glove meets the requirements for impact protection.

The gloves lasted 4 weeks and one and a half days working with steel cables – abrasion resistance is actually average, after a week the top layer started to wear out. Today a seam ripped, so further use isn't possible, but the hands were well protected the whole time. On the inside, the stitching at the fingertips is thick but after a short time they adapt and are hardly noticeable. Recommended.

This is my first purchase of gloves from this brand and I am very satisfied. The size was perfect and the bright accents on top look great. I can use my smartphone in them without any problem.
-
The gloves are great for outdoor work as well as everyday wear. Thanks to the m-pact panels, hitting a wall doesn't hurt. I still plan to test them in muddy conditions and am curious how they will do there.

I work as a High Rack Operator in a distribution center. The gloves perform well when operating the lift and handling boxes. I have been using them for over 20 days and they are almost indestructible. Using a phone with them is 10/10. Highly recommend!
-
Very good and comfortable gloves, which fit my hand perfectly after 1–2 days of use. The best gloves I've used so far, worth their price. I was hesitant because of their appearance, as they remind me of armor gloves from the game "Fallout", but once worn, they are very light and comfortable. After a week, the material fit perfectly, and I can even turn screws easily with them. Honestly recommend.
-
Very solid gloves – comfortable and fit the hand well. They may seem bulky, but in reality they are not. They work great when working as a professional driver.
-
Today they worked great when cutting wood. They seemed bulky, but turn out to be light and flexible, and they protect hands well. The external rubber inserts are useful for tougher tasks. They also allow for precise work—it's easy to pick up, for example, a nail. They warm your hands slightly, but that's understandable. The Velcro looks delicate, we'll see how long it lasts. Super fast shipping—the gloves arrived the next day.

Highly recommend, great product.
-
Comfortable, strong, I recommend them to everyone.
-
The M-pact in this version is noticeably stiffer than the classic "tactical" model. At first, it might seem too stiff, but after some time it loosens up. The cut-resistant layer makes them less breathable than the standard M-pact, but they provide better protection. A great choice for hard work.
-
Although it's a classic M-pact, compared to the tactical version it is definitely stiffer. At first, it even seems too hard, but over time it becomes more comfortable. The anti-cut layer makes them less breathable than classic M-pacts, but they provide much better protection. Perfect for heavier work.
-
The gloves are comfortable and sturdy, and thanks to the bright color, it's hard to lose or forget where you put them.
-
Comfortable and sturdy gloves, and the vivid color is an extra advantage – they're hard to lose.
-
Very comfortable gloves. I definitely recommend them.
