Camouflage MultiCam
MultiCam represents an advanced camouflage design introduced in 2002 by the American company Crye Precision, in collaboration with the United States Army Soldier Systems Center (Natick Labs), as part of the Objective Force Warrior initiative. Its purpose was to devise a multipurpose camouflage pattern that remains effective across a variety of terrains and shifting environmental conditions. The MultiCam scheme is composed of seven colors, facilitating smooth transitions among green, brown, and beige hues. This allows it to blend seamlessly into its surroundings, adopting green tones in woodland areas or shades of brown and beige in desert landscapes. It is particularly effective during autumn and in dry vegetation scenarios found in Central and Eastern Europe. Worldwide recognition of MultiCam has led to its utilization by numerous military forces and special units. In 2010, the US Army officially adopted the pattern for troops stationed in Afghanistan, replacing the previous Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP). Additionally, it is accessible to civilians, making it a favored option for military and airsoft enthusiasts.
MILITARY is the official distributor of M-Tac.
